'Accept or Delete ', WhatsApp terms will change from February 8

WhatsApp, the world's largest social networking messaging app, is undergoing major changes.  From February 8, 2021, new rules will be coming to WhatsApp under Facebook. It is reported that WhatsApp users will have to accept the terms of service to be updated in 2021, or the account will have to be deleted.

WhatsApp users may lose access if they do not agree to the new Terms of Service. Available reports say that WhatsApp will update its terms of service in the coming year. It will take effect from February 8. If users do not comply with the new privacy rules, they may lose access to the messaging application.

WABetaInfo has released a screenshot of the new terms and privacy policy updates, announcing WhatsApp updates in advance.  The screen shot clearly shows that users can accept the new terms or delete their accounts.

It is known that the next WhatsApp updates will include more information about the service and the processing of user data. It may also include information on how businesses can use Facebook hosted services to keep and manage chats.

The new terms will take effect on February 8, 2021.  The message reads, "After this date, you need to adopt the new rules or you can delete your account permanently if you wish to continue using WhatsApp."  Meanwhile, there are indications that the February 8 date may change and the revised terms of service may be announced in the coming weeks.
